The National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) is one of the most important sources of socio-economic data of households in Indonesia. Data generated by this survey has been widely used by various circles. Therefore, the sustainability, availability, and quality of Susenas data must be maintained and enhanced.
Susenas activities are held 2 (two) times a year, ie in March and September. In March 2018, data was collected using the Core Questionnaire and Consumption / Expenditure. What is unique in this year's Susenas is the addition of data points of coordinates of residence of sample households, taken using ODK Collect application.
In addition, the implementation of Susenas in March 2018 is also integrated with Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) conducted by the Research and Development Agency of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. Riskesdas is a nation-wide community-based health research to district / city level conducted periodically in 2007, 2010, 2013, and 2018. The results of Riskesdas can be utilized for the formulation of various health policies and measuring the Indonesian Public Health Development Index (IPKM).
