Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is the comparison between the price index received by farmers (It) and the price index paid by farmers (Ib) and expressed as a percentage. NTP is an indicator to see the level of welfare of farmers, by measuring the ability to exchange products produced / sold by farmers in comparison to products needed by farmers both for the production process and for household consumption of farmers. The higher the NTP, it means that the purchasing power or terms of trade of the farmers are relatively better and the life level of the farmers is also better.
