Coordination Meeting for the Launch of the STAI SUSHA SIAK statistics corner

Siak (6/02), Head of BPS Siak Regency, Prayudho Bagus Jatmiko along with his team and representatives from the Chair of LPM STAI SUSHA Siak Islamic College held an initial coordination meeting on Monday (3/02) to discuss plans for collaboration between the Statistics Corner at STAI SUSHA Siak at BPS Riau Province, Head of BPS Riau Province, Asep Riyadi and his staff welcomed this program with the hope that it can provide positive benefits for students, campuses and also BPS.

The Statistics Corner is a collaborative service between the Central Statistics Agency and Higher Education. This activity is a form of BPS' concern in disseminating the variety and benefits of statistical products produced by BPS in the higher education environment. Through the Statistics Corner, it is hoped that literacy and use of statistics in the higher education environment will increase.

The Statistics Corner carries the concept of collaborative services between BPS and Higher Education through Forstat. Collaboration between BPS and universities will also be carried out to build statistical agents in order to increase statistical literacy and foster statistical activities. This synergy between BPS and universities not only includes the provision of statistical services at universities, but also supports the Independent Learning Campus (MBKM) activity program which is a new program within universities.

The Statistics Corner will also be present at the SUSHA Siak Islamic College (STAI) on the legal basis of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Cooperation Agreement between the local Siak Regency BPS and Universities in their respective regions.
